At just six months of age, Rhett made his debut at the Collie Specialties in Roseville, CA where he easily won two back to back 5 point Specialty majors under Judge Mike Van Tassell and Janet Hitt. He returned to the ring at almost 2 years of age and picked up his 3rd consecutive 5 point specialty major under Judge Pat Jung to finish his Championship.
